The Williston Northampton School has a full-time calendar year opportunity available immediately within the School’s Technology Department. Monday through Friday and will include Class Saturdays. 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime during peak periods. Vacation, personal, holiday and sick time. The Technology Support Technician is an integral member of the Technology Department who will work to support the needs of the Williston community as a first responder.
The successful candidate should possess proven technical knowledge and have two years’ experience preferably in an educational setting. Technology requirements are as follows:All Microsoft Office product applications; Outlook in a Microsoft Exchange Environment and Office365; configuring and troubleshooting; Wireless connectivity troubleshooting; Windows, Mac, install, configure, and troubleshooting. Will also be responsible for: acting as primary on Help Desk; providing Admin support to the CIO; maintaining inventory in the department; assisting with Tech Department projects; other duties as needed or assigned.
The qualified individual needs to be committed, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasking. Must possess excellent verbal, written and communication skills, especially with non-technical community members. Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
