Responsible for moderate to complex projects associated with the maintenance of tax records and the preparation of all or specifically assigned tax returns or related reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares and reviews various domestic and international tax returns and related documents.
Prepares estimated tax payment and tax return extension calculations. Reviews estimated tax payment vouchers and tax return extensions.
Conducts and/or participate in tax research as well as implement approved tax strategies.
Assists in domestic audits by collecting information to provide to the auditors.
Assists in the domestic tax analysis used in the tax provisions by updating the annual deferred tax assets schedules.
Assists in responding to tax notices from various domestic tax agencies.
Updates and maintains the Tax Calendar.
Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project. Coordinates the work to be completed but is not responsible for formal supervision of employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of two to four years of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
