The Content Strategist/Editor works in conjunction with thought leaders and economists to develop strategic research content for internal and external clients. Functions include:
Refining ideas, editing drafts, and publishing content to increase engagement with and demand for CBREâs proprietary forecasting service;Assisting key stakeholders in managing an editorial calendar across email, web, blog, social, and referral channels;Collaborating with demand gen to assure that all touch points with audience (prospect and client) are relevant and consistent in voice and tone.
The Content Strategist/Editor serves an evangelist of our decision support tools grounded in data science, validated by specialists, being leveraged by CRE market makers.
Editing short-form thought pieces translating complicated economic or modelling concepts into engaging thought pieces.
Bringing a consistent voice and tone to internal and external communications and research
Developing and managing an editorial calendar that performs well in search and social platforms.
Shepherding thought pieces from ideation through publication in partnership with our thought leaders and marketing professionals.
Adhering to company style guides to develop written content for brand initiatives.
Working with business development teams and marketing to drive audience engagement across platforms.
Guiding potential customers with relevant content through the buyer journey to increase awareness and demand for paid research.
Report editorial efforts bi-weekly to leadership.
Edit press releases, quarterly reports, product announcements, client newsletters.
Collaborate on regional, national and global mandates.

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university. One to two years of related experience in an editorial, journalist or research position.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.

Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, CMS systems.
